Sasha Raymond tragically taken on May 13th 1979 aged 8 weeks as a result of cot death.
Sasha our baby daughter was born in March 1979
One of three sisters she was fourth in line,
Far to small in hospital she stayed
So for a few weeks we just sat and prayed
When she came home she had love and care
But she never smiled she would only just stare
Sasha's eyes sparkled and were very bright
We nicked named her BRIGHT EYES, as we felt it was right
But some thing was wrong on the 13th of May
When the angel's came and took her away
In the early morning just after eight
Some one opened the heavens gate
Why she was taken, we still wonder why
And to this day we do still cry
Our beautiful daughter no life to live
The family grieving, our love to give
Sasha's sisters and brother, never did get the time
To love their sister, so we wrote this rhyme
We love you Sasha we miss you so much
This is only way we can keep in touch
With pen to paper we write for you
And tears are falling as they do
For our baby daughter was taken away
All this happened on the 13th of May.

A Child of Mine (Poem by Edgar Guest)
I will lend you, for a little time,
A child of mine, He said.
For you to love the while sshe lives,
And mourn for when he's dead.
It may be six or seven years,
Or twenty-two or three.
But will you, till I call her back,
Take care of her for Me?
She'll bring his charms to gladden you,
And should her stay be brief.
You'll have her lovely memories,
As solace for your grief.
I cannot promise she will stay,
Since all from earth return.
But there are lessons taught down there,
I want this child to learn.
I've looked the wide world over,
In search for teachers true.
And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes,
I have selected you.
Now will you give her all your love,
Nor think the labour vain.
Nor hate me when I come
To take her home again?
I fancied that I heard them say,
'Dear Lord, Thy will be done!'
For all the joys Thy child shall bring,
The risk of grief we'll run.
We'll shelter her with tenderness,
We'll love her while we may,
And for the happiness we've known,
Forever grateful stay.
But should the angels call for her,
Much sooner than we've planned.
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes,
And try to understand.

After They Are Gone
When someone we love passes away,
We ache, but we go on;
Our dear departed would want us to heal,
After they are gone.
Grief is a normal way to mend
The anguish and pain in our hearts;
We need time to remember and time to mourn,
Before the recovery starts.
Let's draw together to recuperate,

On the day God took you
I thought that I would die
I wondered where the time went?
I asked alot of whys??
With people all around me
I felt alone inside
From all their words of comfort,
I couldn't seem to hide,
I thought I might be dreaming
That I'd wake and find you here,
I thought "This can't be happening."
As I wiped another tear.
On the day that you were laid to rest
My heart broke yet again,
I wondered if the pain would end,
But mostly, I wondered when??
It's hard to be without you,
At times the days seem long,
Sometimes I just sit crying,
When there's really nothing wrong.

My Sweet Angel Love You Lots xxxxx
You were a gift sent straight from Heaven.
Given to us from God above.
We didn't know how much you would teach us
About the meaning of true love.
For true love sometimes means letting go
Of someone precious and dear.
That is what we were forced to do.
Although we wanted to keep you here
However, this is quite a selfish wish.
One we know we should ignore.
But, sweet Sasha, we truly do believe
That God must have needed you more.
Perhaps to be an Angel now,
Full of wisdom and love.
Watching over those of us who love you
From the shining stars above.
We miss you more than you can know.
You will never be replaced.
In our hearts and memories forever,
Will be your sweet and innocent sleeping face.
Our christmas tree is now
